Steve. Does Kathy in DC offer E widths on their grant last CT/commando boots?

Yes she does. All of my Grant last are an E width. I've got E width through Leffot and TSM too. Some were preorders

PSA......Miller Brothers is a small menswear shop in Atlanta and they have a very limited number of Alden on sale at 50% off....navy suede loafers with contrast stitching on the plaza last and snuff suede PTBs on a "special" last that are all A/C narrow width.....not sure if they are the typical Barrie last model or not but they said they were a special make up for their shop.....wish the had the navy suede loafers in my size but picked up a pair of the PTBs as they were too good to pass up at $250

Joining here because, while I love my modest collection of AE, I'm pretty unimpressed with their recent offerings, and this seems like the next logical step. Thanks for having me, and I'm looking forward to reading and learning more.

If I thought an A/C would work for me I'd be all over that...

Thought I'd share the spring preview of one of Adams new make ups for this spring AOC-1 icon_gu_b_slayer[1].gif

Sole question:  We're starting to plan our Alden make-ups for the year.  I don't like the plantation crepe sole much, but I'm not my customers.

We're talking about a tobacco reverse chamois PTB as one make-up but going in circles on the sole.  I was thinking double-waterlock, but could be convinced otherwise.

Anyone got an opinion on this?

I don't quite get leather soles with chamois...it's a rough leather imho and needs a rough sole

Look at unionmade nst rt chamois boot, that thing would have been sold out months ago if it was on commando.

commando first, double waterlock second would be my choice.

Would drop a deposit on something like that asap, assuming I could get E width (if on barrie)

I'm going to give an E width a go, maybe the Grant will work for me yet. Thanks for the heads up.

Commando first option and commando second option, it's made to be on reverse chamois.

Quick questions...do most of you use deer bone on your shell to help with creasing, and if so where can I buy it in North America?
