How does the Grant differ from the Barrie?

Size for size is the length of the boots the same?  I assume the toebox on the Grant is less volume.

Looking at Yenni's upcoming Tan Country Calf or Natural CXL CT's, but have no experience with Grant and no access to a store.

Grant TTS, Barrie 1/2 down. I've never owned a Grant but that seems to be the standard response to the question.

Size for size they are not the same. 8D Barrie left, 8.5D Grant right. Pretty much identical in length. Grant has a more tapered, but taller, toebox than Barrie.

^^ Damn, that Cigar captoe.

Thank you fellas.  TTS on Grant sounds about right.  I'll go for a 9 than.

@CanadaCal I might be in the minority but I take the same size in both grant and Barrie. Length feels the same but the toe on the grant tapers more. But not enough to be cramped or to size up for me though.

I go from D width on Barrie to E width on Grant but stay same size.  That's  worked for and has been recommended by Ed at TSM and Kathy at Alden DC.

I'm on the pre-order list for Yenni's Tan Country Calf boot. Can't wait till March! I go TTS on Grant, and down a half size on Barrie as others have stated.

Beautiful! Two of my grails. I finally have the tanker, and have been on the cigar cap toe list for over a year so far.

I go 1/2 up from Barrie for the Grant as well.

These are actually Ravello (40664HC) - somewhat brown for Ravello but especially so in this light (the color #8 pair looks black!).

Some photos of this pair in better lighting:

I do have a pair of Cigar cap toe boots, but they're the AoM model on Barrie (4074).
