The AoM ravello chukka came with a antique edge trim which best suits it imo.

That was the second pair of rare shells I acquired that week.

Thanks Mike! I too am considering the Harlech so these photos are really helpful. I would likely go Alden grant but I'm looking specifically for a dark brown shell cap toe boot, and I don't have the patience to wait for someone to make a cigar version.

In what way does the Harlech run big? Length? Width? Instep? Etc.

Anyone know what the latest is on switching soles during restoration? I'm thinking about requesting a change from commando soles to the real lug soles that you find for instance on the brown kudu "rugged" Indy boot

Would Alden do that?
