You can then look at your Ravello in 5K. Nuff said.

Also a pic of my favorite trees to use with Alden shoes. They are from the J&M factory store here, only around $11CAD each and they are damn near Barrie lasted. Considering basic woodlore trees run like $30-$40 CAD here I was very pleased to find these trees a while back. I need to head back and buy some more soon.

lovely color. great photo.

Looking good in your JCrew PCTs. Nice casual combo. I assume you said something like mdubs rocks there... ;-)

Those are just lovely dude.

Looking great in your Pitts!

Looking great Henry in the classic! Fun socks!

I try and stay out of these types of things in general, but wanted to chime a few things in. I understand Steve's frustrations, truly, especially since I know he actually wanted these shoes, since I probably talked him into them. And I know Smooth's points. I am not a fan of flipping shoes at all, however, Smooth has several good points in there. Frankly, if I wanted to, I could probably buy half of the exotic Alden's produced and just flip them, but I chose not to do that due to my personal ethics, not to mention time required. However, one thing that I want to point out is that we do not know the intent of the buyer, I do not know if he bought them with the intent of just flipping them or if he genuinely wanted them and then passed when he saw them, due to fit, or something else.

Looking great in a true classic.

The classic NSTs are just uniquely Alden. You wear yours in good health Don!

Ha, looking good dude! Love them Cigars.

Looking great in your modified Whiskeys.

thanks dubs.

Snuff PCT boots from ShoeMart. About a year old. I have been amazed at the resiliency of Alden's suede. I have been a lurker here for a few years, and wanted to thank all of you for the expert advice given throughout this thread. You have all steered me in the right direction during my journey into fine footwear.

Harsh lighting but these are Leffot Tankers from 4 years ago.

They really need a good cleaning!

Those are gorgeous, but are they not too small for you? That bulge on your pinky toe looks painful. I'd say you need to go up a width, and possibly a half size as well on future pairs.

Is this just the angle playing tricks? Not sure the fit is off - looks ok to me.

Agreed, when I got my Panerai Luminor GMT. I got it through a long time family friend who is a jeweler on 5th ave. most Panerai never make it to the display case.

Hey William, welcome to the non-lurking side! I lurked for a long time first also. Your Suede PCTs are looking great. I agree that Alden does a fantastic job with their suede. I was really reluctant to pay the Alden up charge for suede versus AE, but once I got one pair, it was over.

Your Tankers are looking good. Give them a good scrub and then repost, would love to see how they look cleaned up. :-)

Hah. Life is sometimes full of regrets. But this shouldn't be one. The CitiTanker is great, but yours is superb as well. Enjoy it.

Black Shell CT boots on commando have become my go to beater/foul weather boot.  They have held up nicely this season...
