Sweet golf shoes and forged cavity battle ax!  I used those irons years ago; very underrated.

I'd be pleased to have 60' and sunshine this weekend for some golf.  Indeed, birdies do make everything else sweeter!  Not a Mizuno guy but certainly feel the same way.  May your balls roll true, and your driver never fail you... :embar:

Man, your photos are some of the best I've seen. Fantastic shoes and boots, of course, but it's the combination with your pants that does it. You've got a great style going, love the narrow leg openings.
When it comes to pants, you and MrDV are the inspiration.

Indeed!  Keep them coming my friend; enjoy them often and in the best of health...

Sweet make-up and combination @MrDV!  Another run might throw the Ebay market into orbit! (Get your hands on these and it might equate to two pairs of unicorns--financially; not that I'm advocating that sort of behavior whatsoever)

I have two pairs of the one size (sale items from Jcrew last year). 11-11.5D for me and its a chore to get them on. After that they are fine though. Really don't reach for them much because of it. I didn't realize at the time they had size options as well.

Hello gents. Have a great weekend.

Boston is about to get hit with some snow this weekend! Good thing I have a pair of these Indy boots :)

Morning walk with the dog in these boots!

Gentlemen, please provide some feedback in regards to the differences between the Commando vs. Neocork sole. I am a tad bit saddened I could not find this boot with the Commando sole - I've heard that it provides great traction during the winter. If I am simply walking through sidewalks and such, will the Neocork sole be enough to get by the winter? I'm hoping that these boots will be good enough of a winter boot for this season :foo:

I imagine Boston has similar winter weather as Detroit, except maybe a tiny bit warmer. Personally, I don't think the Neocork is really a great sole for a lot of winter wear, especially if they use salt on the streets and sidewalks there. In my experience, road salt + the constant wetness of slush and snow destroys the soles pretty quickly. The Neocork will be fine for most days if you are just walking from the car to the office or something, but if you are spending any serious amount of time outside, the rubber sole like the commando is much more durable and will also provide a bit of extra stability if you are worried about slick surfaces.

Neocork is horrible on icy surfaces

the problem with neocork is that it's smooth. smooth soles + ice = dangerous, I almost cracked my skull (seriously) with a cartoon-esque tumble backwards from wearing smooth rubber soles on ice.

it's fine for the other season though

I think even leather is better than neocork on ice

Thanks for the input, gentlemen! Debating whether it is worth it to get an Indy boot with the commando sole. Don't know if having two of the same boots but with different soles is worth it though... lol!
