They look to be too big except in the last pic. If you're a 10D in Barrie then you likely need a 10D or possibly a narrower width 10. Sorry.

Last pic I'm wearing no show socks. I should have noted that. The first two I'm wearing socks. I think a little sock does the difference.
Try a very thin insole if you are up to it.

Thanks man.

I got my Snuff Suede LHS Loafers from a forum member PROFLIGATE47. They look great and they are super comfortable!

I think the fit is correct. I got a 10.5D in these (note these are Van last). I am a 10D in a Barrie Last shoe. There's so much variance in shoes for me and the different lasts. I think loafers can be less forgiving. I snapped some photos.

I think they fit good and offer a lot of comfort the upper foot. My left foot is smaller than the right. The right fits great. There is minimum slippage if say I'm going up stairs but for the most part they are on my foot. They don't slip off like my Rancourt Beefrolls which are unwearable for me without thick socks.

Thing is I have thin feet :) Especially close to the heel. I tried on some of these in a Tan color when I was in Austin a few weeks ago with thin socks. The 10D was tight on me and the salesman even put me on the Brannock (which I am a 12 on that *shrug*). The guy helped me out a lot.

Profilgate47 said he wore these a few times so I'd imagine they have stretched. I'm just so damn particular and I guess I'm wrong in comparing the fit to a lace up. I like them and they are beautiful. I just can get picky about the fit, which I should. I'm assuming that loafers are for, well 'loafing' and some minor slipping is OK?

I sized my CXL and shell LHS same as Barrie, but sized up 1/2 for the suede....the Barrie size was way too tight for me across the vamp.....I actually compared my snuff suede 11.5s to my CXL 11s the other day and they appear to be exaclty the same width and length with the 11.5 suede actually appearing to have less volume.

Yeah I think for a CXL I will do a 10D (my Barrie size), but I think I tried a number of lasts when in Austin. I recall trying 10D in a Van last in some suede loafers and a 10.5. The 10 was too tight for me if I recall correctly. 10.5 was great, just slightly bigger on my left foot (smaller foot) which was fine.

Just not as easy to fit say compared to a laced shoe :) I feel like I'm going crazy.

I don't own an LHS yet, but was sized recently for them at AoM, and surprisingly a full size down from brannock for me(TTS 10 to 9) fit the best. Granted, I tried on a shell LHS and not suede or cxl, but cant imagine there would be enough stretch to warrant a size change? If anything with loafers I'd only be worried with heel slip.

Man...I'm like a 11.5 - 12D on a Brannock. Different fits for different shoes:

11D in Aberdeen
10D in Barrie

If I got a Cordovan or CXL LHS Loafer I'd probably get a 10D in the Van Last tbh. 10.5D Van in these suede ones seem to be doing well for me with a pair of no show socks. I could have probably fit into a 10.5C but it's a minor detail. Overall satisfied with my purchase after walking around in them more. :)
