If anyone is interested in anything in particular let me know and I'll prioritize posting pics.

What sort of Paul Smith outerwear?

Might be interested in ties and blazers depending on fabrics and sizes. Cheers.

Blazers are all EU 48 and 50, two brown patterned cashmere blends, one navy wool with peak lapels. Will post pics of everything that spikes interest here on Thursday afternoon to give you first looks before it all goes up on ebay.

Is it a UK 36r? Think they've got working sleeve buttons right? :/
post #264 of 331

@thebuddahman Judging by how it sits on the hanger I'd say it's 36 UK 46 EU.

Yup I think you're right. I'm interested but I've got a feeling the 1911 line has working sleeve buttons which is a problem for my T-Rex arms.

Yes the jacket has working sleeve buttons and size is 36UK 46EU. In gallery are photos with sleeve measurements @thebuddahman.

Condition:

few stray threads and collar is darker but nothing important by my opinion

You can still get them shortened, as long as your tailor is good enough. I had a Paul Smith jacket with working cuffs shortened on the sleeves recently.

How much did it cost? I have had quotes for sleeve shortening from the shoulder and it was prohibitive.

It was done with a load of other jobs, but that jacket had the waist let out and the sleeves shortened and it was certainly less than £50 - and that's from a SR trained tailor.

The sleeves were shortened at the cuff, it was a single button jacket and I only needed 3/4 of an inch or so taken up, taking the length from the shoulder is a lot more work as I understand it.

Yes, I think you have to take the entire sleevehead apart. I've seen some terrible jobs of shortening on working buttonholes, including one where the hole was sewn up in a different colour of thread (!).
