I picked up a couple of gold label cashmere jackets yesterday (so nice!) and had a chance to look at the diffusion range pictured at the top, and compare it to the mainline range and they are pretty similar to be honest, both in terms of pricing and quality. Both are made in either Mauritus or Italy, with the gold label made in England, apparently at Cheshire Bespoke - so Tinderstick was pretty much spot on on the last page. The Chester by range is made in China, but I didn't bother looking at that.
I got a very big discount (that's what we do, isn't it, really) but even at retail prices, I think the gold label line is real value for money against Brioni, Kiton et al, handmade quality and a third of the price.
