For Sale:
Falcon Garments V1 (45)

Will Ship To: CONUS

***SOLD***

Up for sale is a brand new V1 varsity jacket from Falcon Garments in the black/black colorway. Received this back at the end of October and it's only ever been briefly tried on indoors a few times.

I'm selling this because I'd rather get a V2 winter varsity in a different color, or maybe just use the funds for something else entirely.

Here's a short review I did regarding the jacket back when I first got it:

the jacket came folded neatly and covered in bubble wrap, which was great. this is in stark contrast to the way my toj0 was shipped (crudely folded and covered in all kinds of lint and cardboard fibers since it was packed into the box naked; really irked me)

as for the leather, it's softer than what i remember my toj0's being like (not that this is better or worse; just an observation). it's maybe a touch thinner, too. the veins/stretch marks/whatever they're called are also subtler than they were on my toj0 (again, just an observation; i don't mind either way). the buttons are also nice and clean, unlike my toj0's which had noticeable paint chips on at least two of them (to be honest, i'm pretty sure that the toj0 i was given was one of those jackets that drew had been holding in storage for a long time).

i ordered a stock 45, and the fit is actually much better than the stock 46 toj0 i used to have. it's actually really surprising to me how big of a difference a half size can make, since my toj0 had a lot of room in the sleeves especially. whereas i could easily fit a sweater and more underneath the toj0 and be able to move freely, i was already experiencing tension in the leather as i bent my elbows with nothing but an ocbd underneath with the v1. buttoned up, too, i could feel it getting a bit restrictive, but this is actually all good since i was looking for a slim fit (which the 46 toj0 failed to provide for me) to begin with. i will say, though, that the back of the jacket kind of flares out a little since it seems like it's horizontally longer than the length of its ribbing, but i'm sure that this is something that will settle down with time as the ribbing stretches.

i hate bathroom selfies and would otherwise never take them, but i took two just to give you guys somewhat of an (crude) idea of the fit (for reference, i'm 5'8, ~125 lbs.):

edit: this is what i'm referring to regarding the back:

is that normal?

As mentioned, the jacket is a stock size 45 and after taking some quick measurements everything seems to line up with their chart:

I would like to say, though, that since the first time I tried it on in that post of mine, I have found that I was able to fit a sweater underneath pretty comfortably, and that the tightness in the arms I was experiencing could have just been attributed to the slimness of the shirt I was wearing. Regardless, the jacket still fits great and the selfies I took are pretty indicative of that (all in my opinion, though, of course!).

The pictures were taken with an iPhone 5 with some sunlight peaking through my curtains, which is why some of the exposures might be a bit wonky. I tried to take as many pictures as possible, but if you would like me to take any further detailed ones or ones of specific areas, please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm asking $385 shipped within the continental United States. However, if you happen to be in the San Francisco Bay Area, we can arrange a meet-up in person in the city and the jacket can be yours for $365.

I'm able to offer the jacket for cheaper than what it normally costs since I was able to get the "TOJ victim" discount. I also paid by check, which Falcon will also give you a small discount for, so I'm passing the savings onto you!

If you have any questions, feel more than free to PM me. Thanks for reading and cheers!
