Burgundy - EG Inverness or G&G St James II

Hello gents,

I'm keen on picking up a burgundy pair of dress shoes.

I'd like it to not be too dark nor too bright.

For reference:

Gaziano and Girling St James II in vintage cherry

Edward Green Inverness in Burgundy

Vintage cherry is too red to be burgundy. There's variation in how dark the EG Inverness burgundy is, but nobody would mistake it as anything but a dark red.
