Medium Quality Machine Washable Dress Pants

Recently started moving away from tan Khakis/Chinos to "casual" dress pants. Even with the "entry-level" dress pants in a polyester or poly/Rayon blend I find these more comfortable (temperature and feel) than Khakis.

I've started with the following:

Van Heusen slim fit grey travel

Kenneth Cole slim fit grey

Both fit well and the material seems to have a higher quality finish (compared to shiny polyester used in athletic wear). The Van Heusens seem to have a more microfiber look. We'll see how they hold up after time.

My question is what would be the next step up to stay ~$100 or under (retail price)?

I work in an office but also in a production environment (dust, etc.) for a portion of the day, so something I can take home and wash is preferred. So although wool pants may be true dress pants, I don't think they would be practical.

Next stage would be to ditch polyester and go to either wool or cotton.

From what it sounds like the machine washable safe wool doesn't last, so it sounds like I'd be best off with cotton.

Any cotton suggestions?

Costco's Kirkland brand of khakis in their last offering is simply amazing.  100% cotton, no-iron, $20.  Terrific hand on the fabric.  I picked up three pairs in the warehouse.
