Also, for those that are a bit more "denim and boots" than "suit and tie" - I'm really excited to say that we're now working with Thorogood 1892, Thorogood's new heritage line that has yet to expand much into the US market (it's mostly in Japan and Europe). All the footwear in this collection is made in Wisconsin, most of out leathers from Horween. Anyway, we're starting with their classic plaintoe design, the "Beloit," for a great price. You can see the drop here

Hey Ian,

I like the cable knit crewneck that MD is currently offering, but can you perhaps look into finding a nice, textured rollneck/turtleneck?  Something with a textured knit but still appropriate to wear under a suit jacket or sport coat (i.e. not too chunky).

Perhaps something along the lines of this Incotex, minus the $300+ price tag...

or this Lands End:

Having a tough time finding a nice one at a reasonable price.

Thanks!

I'll keep an eye out! The vendor we're working with has tons of styles, we just started with something simple. More to come!

It's a great one! Stock has been really thin lately, hopefully we can get more in the coming months.

Hey Ian,

I recently received the Fostex Purpleheart headphones (after much anticipation), and love the form and function of them - although I took the conservative option when the Ebony model was announced. I'd really like another pair for the office, are there any plans to release a second round of the ebony model?

Glad you like them! They totally rock.

I know the Fostex line is coming back, but I don't know the exact dates yet. The best thing to do is 'request' it on the inactive page so that you get emailed when it does.

I do know that we have more collabs coming out soon, and I think some will be another nice alternative to those ebonys!

For those that missed it, we've started working with ArmorLux from France. The brand is already very value-driven, so I'm excited to offer some really great pricing on their products. We're starting with some wool sweaters but hope to expand our offerings soon.

Is the product page discussion correct that only B, D, and EEE widths will be available?

Correct. The more SKUs we have, the more complex the order gets and the higher the price gets. We thought this would be a good balance between keeping things simple and offering a variety of sizes. We're working off of one of AE's standard size runs.

Just received my Knottery grenadine tie. Its a great looking tie and makes a beautiful knot. I'd be tempted to pick this up in another color in another MD run...
