The best Neapolitan ties

The Neapolitan ties have a long story and tradition, and, more in general, many of you know about the neapolitan tayloring style.

Anyway in the time, the brands may have more or less luck.

And may be italians choose different neapolitan neckties than international clients?

We would show you the last choice of some good italian magazines.

Napoli da Vivere magazine has really a lot of followers in Naples.

They chosed:

Marinella, Cilento, Ulturale, A.Quaranta Locatelli, Patrizio Cappelli, Riviera.

Here is the article: "Le grandi cravatte di Napoli" http://www.napolidavivere.it/2014/05/12/cravatte-napoli/

Pinkitalia is a good fashion mag.

They chosed:

Marinella, Cilento, Ulturale, A.Quaranta Locatelli, Patrizio Cappelli

The article "le cravatte sartoriali di Napoli" is here: http://napoli.pinkitalia.it/moda/le-cravatte-sartoriali-di-napoli/

Myqualitaly choice is similar:

Marinella, Cilento, Ulturale, A.Quaranta Locatelli and P.Cappelli.

the article:

http://myqualitaly.it/le-cravatte-napoletane-qualita-e-grandi-marchi/

The blog Napoliband

chosed:

Marinella, Ulturale, P. Cappelli, Finamore, Riviera and Isaia.

the article is here:

http://www.napolibandb.it/blog/2013/05/11/napoli-pizza-mandolino-e-cravatte

CLASS choose Marinella and Ulturale comparing them with other italian brands, like Ferragamo

http://www.classlife.it/classifiche/cravatte/

Bintmusic choose, between some international brands, Marinella and Quaranta Locatelli.

If you like, please tell your ideas about neapolitan ties and show here your neapolitan ties!

I personally prefer Neapolitan ties exclusively because of the construction and choice of materials. (Three of) my favorite brands are mentioned in most of the articles; E.G. Cappelli, E. Marinella and A. Quaranta Locatelli.

My humble contribution and a voice of support of the great product you're providing. Please excuse the poor picture quality.

Really, a tie is a complex taylor made stuff and the costruction and matherials are very important..
In Napoli, the seven folds are very appreciated. I understand that there are very amazing and thin 3 folds ties in some other style, but this is Naples's one..
Do you like to show the best you have for some other neapolitan brands?

I am afraid I wrote that short sentence in a terrible english. So I will suggest you, if you have a time, to watch this video. I don't agree about everything, but it's a good explanation.

The speaker emphasizes five main aspects of ties:

-shell,

-interlining

-stitching

-thread

-tip lining.

and even he talks about seven folds and other things.

Thank you. Actually we are thinking about it. Anyway this photo has a tricky perspective and the label is quite far from bottom. Anyway your taste is a good point of view!

I personally like the label. I dont think it is too big and I like the aesthetic. Very clean design.

I agree with the aesthetic, which is nice. it is the size that is the issue. Given a choice, I would buy a brand with more subtle labels. To me that is more elegant and I don't need to "shout" what brand or maker I am wearing.

You can always cut it off if you think the label is too big...
