Greg do you have any more pictures of yourself in that seersucker suit?

hi, i'm going to get a green linen SP, just wanna make it clear of few things, when placing of the preorder (50% deposit i would say), it's no need to give the detail of my size measurement, right?

Likely, I would order a 46S, the length shorten from 29 in to around 27.5 in and shoulder to shoulder at 17in, is it possible to make this request?

thanks in advance!

This is not MTM - preorders are for standard sizes. It sounds like you may want to order size 44S ?

Last couple days for Formosa SS16 pre-orders.   Get exactly the sizes you want and also 15% pre-order discount.   Doesn't get better than that.  I know for a fact there will be regrets when the stuff arrives for those who couldn't get their size.

I spend a lot of hours going through hundreds of swatches to narrow down to great cloths that will make up really well.

Do they offer this size Greg? The 46 Eidos was to long for me so I know for a fact I need a smaller size.

Yes we can do any standard size (from 44 to 62) in regular, short or long. Please don't ask me for measurements of sizes we never stocked though !

What are you thinking for trouser and tie combinations on Merlot linen?

So now just comes back to me risking it and being a test dummy, hmm. I'm seriously tempted.

So, I hesitate to write this because: a) in no way am I speaking from a position of expertise here (only personal experience); and, b) I'm not sure it would be a good plan to do a pre-order without having tried on a Formosa previously. But, keeping in mind that this is just my rough and ready measurement, and taking it with whatever level of caution you think is appropriate ... I have a few Formosa jackets in size 44R. They seem to have about a 98.5cm chest measurement and a 44cm shoulder measurement. And, here is where it gets especially subjective (or at least where I feel least confident about what I'm saying): the regular size seems to be about the same length as the NMWA Eidos 46R. Maybe very slightly shorter. So, if you want significantly shorter from the Formosa, then a 44 short might be a better bet.

I hope that is helpful, but again I really can only promise that I'm doing my best to give you a rough guide here...

This is actually extremely helpful considering I was really concerned with the shoulder width. Since I can see the measurements of other sizes I felt I would need a Short over Regular no matter what since these jackets run longer than what I'm used to, thoug. But thank you again, at least I know the shoulders and chest will be where I need.
