The latest deal is an additional 50% discount on all 50% discounted clearance product.  (net 75% discount, clearance50 is the coupon code)

Still slow response, no response to emails or voicemails.  Long hold times to actually speak to CS are predicted.

Their woolens at 75% discount are great, almost comical Dockers discount pricing for truly better grade of product.  If they have Donegals in your size, buy em smile.gif  this is better pricing than they offered on the Donegals during any previous sales.

This note is on the clearance page right now, was not there yesterday:

Thanks for the info. I think I will give them one more chance. Do you have any experience with the Cavalry worsted twill and the Sedona twill?

Edit: I just ordered few, including Cavalry twills, gabardines (again), donegal, Bullard and the Sedona. Let's see if goes through this time around. Strangely, they still show my order from past December under processing. If miracles do happen, I will end up with 4 pairs of wool gabardines smile.gif

My old orders also show, some as completed (that were not) and some as processing (some were shipped some were not).

Have been living in Bullards and Sedonas this winter.  The Donegals remain my favorite, but I have and love each item you ordered.

I have not received any items since they re-opened the site, but called yesterday, and sounds like they are shipping this week.

Frankly, I am pleased with the slow shipping, as several items in my bag are now an additional 1/2 off, and they are very likely to honor the additional discount on unshipped items.

Clearance Code has vanished from site and no longer valid on my shopping cart.
Any luck speaking with CS? I swore it was still on the site on Friday.

I only saw it yesterday, did not see it Friday.  And gone today.

CS has been very friendly when I finally get through, they seem to have authority to discount.

The liquidation continues...

Today, 80% discount showed up on clearance items, although remaining sizes are pretty scarce.

***Called in and got a 'similar' discount on some non clearance items.

I've never purchased Bill's products before, but this sale has me thinking about picking something up in the M3 cut. Anyone have any insight into this fit? Or favorite styles/materials?

A few years ago, I "found" that Allen Edmonds makes my size 15 shoes and boots.  That led me to SF...

I completely stopped buying Cole Haans and any lesser quality products and built a significant collection of AE.

Bills represents a parallel experience, in that their pants are available in my size ! (36x36) and are better at every comparison (durability, consistency in fit, materials, features) to my previous collection (Eddie Bauer/Peter Millar/Levis).   Those never seemed shabby but compared to Bills, I now find them a bit shabby. :)

Once you determine your correct size, the same Model and waist size in any other pant variation will fit the same.

M3 is the trim fit model.  I am not skinny and trim in my head only -  6'4 235lbs.  I fit the M2 pants in my regular waist size.  In M3, I wear a +1 size, 37 waist, although I can squeeze into my regular waist size 36.

I suggest buying your real size in either M2 or M3, depending on your build.  If you are truly slender, the M3.

Their site:

It remains difficult to really see all items they have, because the website is a dated turkey that is not getting current attention.

There are still a few nice M4 items, that are hard to find on the site.  Overdyed Navy are really a nice item and they still have many sizes.  I bought 38 waist and have not tried them on even, figure I can easily shrink them as needed.

If they have an item in your size and it fits any gap in your closet...and you get your size right, at current discounts...you won't be disappointed.  And if you were, these same items sell for more on eBay right now.

Last comments- to repeat this thread has shown that CS is bad- no emails or voicemails returned in ages.  Calling in requires significant patience and you sit on hold, redial, sit on hold and redial again. May take them 2 weeks more or less to ship.  This is not the old Bills, just a little disconnected warehouse of Pre PE firm product.  (new ownership is a PE firm, so future plans are uncertain)

Sorry for my own redundancy in this thread.  I figure folks read the first and last posts mainly...and am trying to bird dog / highlight the constantly changing better deals here.

ADDED 2-19-16

Received just 3 of 7 items that showed to be in stock, so website / inventory remains disconnected unfortunately.

Still, I am pleased with 3 wool pants for south of $120, but their liquidation bargains are pretty much picked through unless you wear a size 33...

Well, I finally received a shipping notification today. I am really tempted to order few tops, but I am not certain on sizing. @jzrhwinnj have purchased any sweaters from them? How is the sizing compared to other brand?

I need a tall size (LT or XLT), so they do not offer me even one item in shirts, jackets etc.

That said, I would not hesitate to pick up some tops while they are liquidating; it may be a stretch at retail, but it is worth 50% discount and surely @ 80% discount. :)

Also, received another box of clearance pants ordered at the 50% discount, and they've amended prices to the 80% discount...

so if you bought at any other discount, and they ran the 80% discount before they shipped your items, it is worth asking for that amended price.

With regard to the M3, I bought a few of these in the last year, and I would (he says sadly) advise you not to waste your money or your time.

The pants fit and feel great if you like a slim fit, but both pairs I have blew out along the back seam. The first when getting into the car, and the second when picking up a pencil off the floor in what was a memorable casual Friday.

That's not the worst of it, but I have attached a picture. The back seam blew out from the crotch to the waistband. It was really amazing. The entire seam failed in a split (no pun intended) second.

The worst of it. I sent the first pair back, and they effected a repair after a month without so much as a "sorry about that." The second pair, gone. No repair. No acknowledgement. I never received

them back again.

Interestingly, the finer men's stores in my town have stopped carrying them altogether.

You can and probably have read about the company's woes since it was sold, and there is no point in rehashing that story here. Suffice to say, that I would not buy anything from Bill's right now.

Blanking on his SF username, but this is from MegaShiny's Tumblr. It should come as no surprise that since the buyout BK are now made in Bangladesh.

I know the new company is making product in the same Philadelphia factory, that made many of their garments in the past.
they may be switching over some or all of the production.
profits before patriotism

This is an
American brand and should be made in America!!!
