Interest Check: Alden Shell Plain Toe Bluchers

Hi,

This is my first time posting to this forum. I wanted to do an interest check on a pair of Alden Shell Plain Toe Bluchers in black, size 9E that I purchased two weeks ago. They are slight irregulars from Shoe Mart, but I cannot find the flaw. I have worn them exactly 2 times and have determined that the E width is too wide for me. I am ordering another size and would like to see if anyone would be interested in buying these from me.

I paid $350, wore them twice and would be willing to sell them for $300. Not a bad deal in my eyes.

How do you find the irregulars? I can't seem to find them.

The Shoe Mart is where all of Alden's irregulars go. If you call there, I believe the owner's name is Ed? I'm sure someone else can confirm this. Anyhow, I seem to remember all calf 2nds went for $250 and all shell models went for $350.

It might help to post the exact model number and last that it's on - Alden makes many varieties of bluchers. And yes, Shoe Mart gets all of Alden's seconds and there are not many of them to begin with.

The shoes are a 9901 on the Barrie Last.
