One of your band's lead singer is dead. The other that is alive is from Chicago, but he still tours Lollapalooza with songs he wrote over a decade ago.

Billy Corgan, on the other hand, is still chillin', all ill style, with his baldness.

You lost the battle, Seattle. Chi-town rep.

Yeah... happy hour ends at 6, so I'll probably try to swing by slightly earlier than that, but that sounds like a plan.

I bet I could come up with a long list of dead people from Chicago.

Our dead people are better than your dead people = Seattle win!

If it were a bit later I'd be in, but I don't think I get back to LA until about 8:30. I'll catch you next time.

Yeah, same bat time, same bat place sounds fine.

Is LD comin'? I'll PM hopkins.

I'd like to, but realistically probably not. This week's kind of crappy for me in general, and Pasadena on a weeknight is kind of *****. I ended up not making the "matt dinner" last night, which I'd been hoping to do.

I wasn't sure how my girl was going to feel about me having two dates with my fashion friends in the same week, but events have conspired to leave me free tonight, so I'll probably show up.
