Hello all,

I have a pair of Lucchese ostrich leg boots that came with a glazed finish, like so:

I am looking to remove the glaze for a more matte effect. Is anyone aware of a deglazer like Fieblings that would be safe to use on exotics? Other options I have come across are polish strippers such as Saphir Renomat but I assume these would be too harsh. Any suggestions greatly appreciated!

I don't know how to get rid of the glaze without ruining the boots. I think if you just wear them with no protective sealant that, may work. I have been looking for that boot in that similar color. I found it in lighter colors but not the dark brown. Where did you come across that boot. if you don't mind me asking.

Thank you,
