THANK YOU to my Thriftmas exchange bud! I'd post a pic but it has his full name on it and I doubt he'd want that all over SF.

I am confused, is it a signed photograph of him? Is it a T-Shirt with his name on it??? Or, are you delaying opening it until Christmas and the box has his name on it?

I am now picturing the back of a pair of sweatpants like the ones branded PINK

WOW! @Ken P, blown away bud. Thank you! You have to tell me more about this scarf! Who made it? The fabrics. It's really unbelievable. My girlfriend already tried to claim it.

No. He donated to the Richmond SPCA for me. What I received is a thank you card from the SPCA with both our names.

Looks like I nailed the timing then! Glad you like it. Your guess is as good as mine- I found it a thrift and saw it had an "M" embroidered on it and figured it was perfect. Looks like it's made from suiting fabric scraps. Everything feels so nice! You'll have make sure your girlfriend doesn't run off with it!

Cross post from the Thrift Thread.

Just wanted to say THANK YOU to my SECRET SANTA this year! THANK YOU very much DanM for the shoes and great selection of neckties! I'm sitting at SFO waiting for my connecting flight to MSY to start my Caribbean Cruise! Yay! With my luck, I'm just hoping I don't get a norovirus! Happy Holidays to all and a Happy New Year too! See you all next year!

You will love sailing out of NOLA. You travel for hours before you even enter the ocean. When you hit Cozumel on Tuesday, rent a vehicle and visit the non-touristy part of the island. Then, have a nice meal at Pancho's Backyard (very good food and safe-to-drink reverse osmosis water). Make sure to eat at Moderno on the ship. It is a carnivore's dream.

Totally! We all are on board with those ideas. Waiting at the terminal to board now. Gonna go up to the mall first to shop for some retail trainers since one of the soles of my Nikes is totally peeling off, just like what happened to the Nikes I was wearing on my Middle East trip last year! Dumped those there and a porter scooped them up and asked if he could keep them. New trainers today will NOT be Nikes!

Very thoughtful gift from @GMMcL. According to his note (which I had a little trouble reading, because I'm too young to have been forced to read and write cursive all my life, ha), he was unable to do much thrifting as he was on a business trip in India, so most of his gifts he bought there. Not pictured is a cashmere, silk, and pashmina scarf that he sent for my fiancee after seeing my recent post about my engagement. I think it's in the backseat of her car which means it's getting more wear than all of the scarves she steals from me. Three great shirts, which have already seen some wear. I know you apologized for the fact that two of them were a boring blue, but after gaining some weight recently those two perfect fit a gap in my wardrobe. And to top it off, a great pair of Charles Tyrwhitt wingtips with trees included. Thanks again!

Little bit of a delay in posting but big thanks to @matty long legs for the gift! Nice, thick Hilditch & Key tie, nice slik handrolled pocket square (a place in my wardrobe where I need to improve my game), a Brooks Brothers gift card and a handwritten note! I'm eyeing their sales now to see what I want to buy, the signature tartan sport shirt is calling my name.
