To clarify:
- these are a long list of ideas for Spring Summer
- I will narrow them down to probably 4 suits and 5 sport coats
- the poll will help narrow these down but I may not simply do the top 4/5 (because of my own preference and having the l real swatches in hand; or because of availability of fabrics)
- I will post the ones we're considering and open for pre-orders
- these will be specific make up and details, the same for everyone ordering the suit/jacket
- anyone can pre-order any size (including 44 or 46 Long...)
- size run for the ones that will be stocked will be 46-54

I have a question regarding the text I set to bold and italic in the quote above.

I'm late to this party, so before I get my hopes up I'd like to make sure I'm understanding completely. I've had a crazy day today so I might not be thinking clearly haha!

Does this mean I could pre-order a 56R sport coat when the time comes? Looking at the measurements of the Formosa double breasted suit on your site right now, that would fit me really well. Unfortunately, lower rise pants haven't worked well for me in the past, but maybe it has been more of a quality issue. I have never tried lower rise pants of the quality that Formosa produces.

I've also tried on a Canali coat in 56R and it fit amazingly well, so I'm not sizing by measurements only. Not the same maker, of course, but it was super comfortable.

@gdl203

Greg,

Timing wise, will I receive and have a chance to try on my navy tweed MTO to determine fit before the deadline passes for preordering these (albeit in their stock sizing, it seems) ?

Some great swatches picked, fellas.

That's correct. I think that the challenge for you (or anyone who hasn't already tried the cut) is to be sure enough of one's size and fit to pull the trigger on a pre-order (those cannot be returned)

I don't think so, unfortunately. Your jacket is supposed to ship from Naples by December 17 so you should have it before the New Year - but the pre-orders need to happen in the next week in order to start ordering fabrics in time.

We can change the ordered size in the first couple weeks if you need to - we first need to order the right amounts of fabrics, which should leave a couple weeks before everything starts getting cut.

Thanks for the quick reply Greg, I really appreciate it! My next three days are insanely busy and I won't be able to check in much, if at all.

I have a three day art show starting today and depending on how things go I might be pre-ordering or going for a Formosa suit you have in stock already.

Fingers crossed, good vibes, all that stuff...
