Your First Concert, Show, and your most recent

I stole this idea from the Zeppelin thread. Simply tell us what was your first show/concert and then the last one you attended.

My first show was Suicidal Tendencies at the Ritz in NY around '85.
My first concert was Iron Maiden at Brenden Byrn Arena in '87.
My last concert was Beastie Boys at Mccarren Park in Brooklyn this past summer.

My first was an Ozzfest in highschool. I think that year it was Ozzy solo and Pantera was the next biggest act. The year later was Black Sabbath headlining (not the reunion tour a year or two prior) and Marilyn Manson opening for them.
Between that time and now I've seen:
Oasis/Black Crows
The Who/Counting Crows
Aerosmith
Bon Jovi
U2
AC/DC
Dashboard Confessional
Misc. regional/local/indie bands
Those were all in HS/College and I can't remember which was the most recent.

First show ever was B.B. King--- The old man is a huge jazz fan and he took me when I was 5. That was '92. Don't remember too much, but what I do remember was amazing.

Most recent show was my best friend from my high school days' band opening up for the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus earlier this summer.

I honestly cannot remember my first show or concert - my grandma and uncle took my brother and I to so many when we were just little kids...

Last one was Stevie @ the MSG three weeks ago - repost from the WDYDLN(TIHWR) thread:

It was just unbelievable how he connects with the audience - the music was phenomenal and crowd-pleasing for sure, but he gives much more than a series of hits. He plays with his own history, plays with the audience and added a lot of cool improv and twists, like Signed, Sealed, Delivered in country music style and For Once in My Life crooner-style in duet with Tony Bennett himself

I cannot think of a lot of living artists for which Prince would agree to come and play rythm guitar in the background for one song (Superstitious) and not even sing a word... that was pretty cool too

First Show/Concert: ZZ Top. Don't remember the date exactly but around 1975

Last Show/Concert: Don Henley, The Pretenders and The Stray Cats back in August.

Was supposed to go see John Fogarty at a private party last Saturday night, but my son was in the hospital so...

It's the guy from Rick's "tribute" band The Gift, along with Rick and Bruce and another rhythm guitar player.

Should be fun, get to hear all the songs you want Weller to play on his solo outings that he never does/will

First Concert was Oingo Boingo at the Long Beach Arena in 1984 First club show was (I think) The Replacements at the Coach House in Capistrano, a few years after that. Most recent was Daft Punk in Las Vegas in October.

I've seen Chicago a couple of times in the last few years. They played at a couple of years ago at a private party that a couple of lawyers in Dallas put on each year. They were right in the wheel-house for most of the crowd there (40's to 60's). Then I saw them last New Years Eve on Fremont Street in downtown Vegas. I think I was the only one in the crowd that knew all of the words to their songs. Mostly a bunch of 20-somethings looking confused and bored, waiting for Five For Fighting to come on.

I think they still put on a good show.
