What Kind of Brush to Use for Wool Suits?

Thread Starter
Greetings styleforumers,

I recently got into menswear and have been trying to step up my wardrobe. I finally decided to pick up my first $1,000 suit from Sid Mashburn and love every square inch of it. With that said, I would really like to preserve the suit, along with my future garments, so I can cherish it for as long as I can (hopefully forever). What kind of brush do you fellow styleforumers use on wool suits to keep it clean from dust, food, and other debris? I would appreciate any recommendations as I would like to purchase a brush (with a good price to value ratio) as soon as possible. Also, what are your thoughts on the Evercare Magik Brush? Is it any good, or would it ruin nice wool suits?

Thank you!

You want a Kent clothes brush.

Every now and then, Kentbrushes - as gbkent - sells dual-sided clothes brushes, very similar to their model CC20, on eBay, for about 1/2 to 1/3 the normal price of the brush.

If you want to know more about Kent brushes, you can check out their website, or do a google search for old threads here on SF, since they've been discussed here many times. But basically, you want a Kent brush, and picking one up from them on eBay will yield an excellent price-to-value ratio.
