$340 Gorgeous Schott Wool Car Coat, NWOT (M)

Up for sale is a truly beautiful, perfectly-executed Wool Car Coat by legendary brand Schott that I've never worn. I'm heartbroken to let this go (just got it this summer), but I can't justify having it as I'm now a poor graduate student, so my loss is your gain. Epaulet sold out of the last run they had as did many other places and it's not hard to see why. This is a phenomenal coat. Warm but not oppressively so, a tailored-fit that's flawless and has some stretch to it, two interior pockets, beautiful lining and a BEAUTIFUL 24 oz melton wool outer. This could easily be in the rotation 7 days a week (and would be for me if I didn't need the money:-/) Give it a nice home for a nice price!

This handsome car coat is one of our very best-selling items. It's easy 3/4 shape falls to mid-thigh. The front closes with a two-way zipper and button-front placket. You can zip it all the way up to enclose your neck in the soft rib-knit interior collar. Two front flap pockets, two interior pockets, and a thick satin liner complete it. It's made in Canada of 80% wool and 20% nylon. This dense 28oz wool blend blocks the wind, keeping you warm into the colder days of winter. Its tough finish also resists pilling, so it will look good for years to come.

When we first laid eyes upon this jacket, we thought that it's one of the most perfect Fall-Winter wool coats that we've ever seen. The fit is spot on, and it can be dressed up or down. It's even long enough to be worn over a sportcoat or suit. Like all Schott pieces, its well-constructed, well-priced, and very functional.
