Those do look good. Will be keeping an eye out for them.

Anyone have any of the compressed wool stoles? Are they comfy and easy to work with? Thinking of picking up a couple

Yes I've got a couple. Nice and long, reasonably thick, and I don't find them at all itchy. The designs can be pretty bold so they're not for wallflowers, but to my eyes they're beautiful pieces.

I've got the bandanna print in red: http://www.kapital.jp/e-store/detail.php?id=K1008XG403EK-288&key=501&category=119

and the treehouse in green: http://www.kapital.jp/e-store/detail.php?id=K1010XG510&key=42&category=119

A close-up from one of mine to give you an idea of the texture - they're basically felted wool woven onto a lighter backing:

One from Sunday:

all Kapital apart from the RW Engineers. The jacket has a felted wool inner with a linen outer, and the seams sewn on the outside and left raw - there are a few old NOS going on yahoo.jp in various colourways . Cap is corduroy from a couple of seasons back. Not sure what model the jeans are - again old season.

Recent all Kapital (apart from footwear) fits - crosspost from WAYWT. Anyone else got any to share?

Picked this up a couple months ago when someone relisted it. It's my first Kapital piece and probably one of the most expensive things I have. The snaps are crazy, idk what i was expecting but its cool and the material is really soft.

Their flannel is really nice. I've got a patchwork Sukiyaki shirt and working out the best way of wearing it does take some playing!

Just out of curiosity, is Kapital one of those labels that doesn't allow their merchandise to be discounted? I noticed that it's conspicuously missing from Unionmade's end of season sale, despite the fact that they have a ton of stock left. Prospects don't sound good for them continuing to carry the label, incidentally. When I stopped in over this past week (expressly for the purpose of looking at/trying on/possibly buying some Kapital pieces, and after circling the neighborhood for 30 goddamn minutes trying to find parking), I was told they had cleared it out of the store to make space for sales stock and that it doesn't sell very well for them (aside from "older, wealthy Japanese men").

Both The Bureau Belfast and Garbstore had a few items discounted in their winter sales. I know it's sometimes available on sale in Japan at the stores, but I don't think they do on-line sales. Unionmade's prices are so dear I'm not surprised it doesn't sell well - even with shipping and taxes you'll generally get it cheaper buying direct from Kapital.

Damnit I wish I hadn't missed the patchwork western shirts. Anyone got a line on a size 4? Maybe size 3. Been on a western shirt kick really - anything besides plain chambray/denim.

The webshop still has the darker ones in a 3 and 4 (very slim fitting by the size guide - too slim for me frown.gif ) http://www.kapital.jp/e-store/detail.php?id=KOR508LS59&key=5246&category=55

There's a nice NOS Kountry one on yahoo: http://zenmarket.jp/auction.aspx?itemCode=m154867729 (reliable seller).

and a sz3 gingham if you want to go really western for peanuts: http://zenmarket.jp/auction.aspx?itemCode=f131932328

Hey I was curious if there were any other Kapital stockists in the US, other than Unionmade and Blue In Green Soho?

Standard and Strange carries a few things on its site and possibly more in-store.
