The Black Monster (with metal band) is now at $139 at Amazon. (That's cheaper than the Black Monster with rubber band)

So it does -- I ordered last night and was charged $139.

It's amazing how rapidly some of the prices on Amazon change. Two days ago I found a scooter I wanted to buy for my kid -- it was at $50. Unfortunately, I didn't order right away. Yesterday, I went to order and it was $60. I waited, thinking it might drop back. Today it is $80!

Moral: keep checking back and don't delay if you see an attractive price!
