Suitsupply San Francisco - Page 2

Bumping this thread.  For those in SF the store is supposedly planned for a Spring opening, then Summer in Union Square on Maiden Lane.

Does anyone have an opening date?  Curious to see the product in person for the very first time.

The store is now open. They had their party last Thursday evening with a lot of media and fashion industry folks in attendance including the former mayor Willie Brown. It is located on Maiden Lane right off of Union Square. You will see many familiar faces working there including Mike Irons, formerly of WIngtip. (If you want great customer service just ask for Mike) They have extensive RTW and MTM. The fabrics and the pricing are amazing. Well known Italian mills and jackets at $500...how do they do it? Plus suits, shirts, ties, shoes and accessories. I wanted to rip the place apart but the style, value, quality is impressive. This will be the best place in the Bay Area who wants an affordable, fashionable suit or wants to have something made for a trip or special occasion. Check it out.

This is indeed great news.  Too bad they are late to my annual summer purchases and I used up my budget on new shoes.

Well, they will probably be there when you are ready to buy Fall😀

Suit Supply contacted me about hosting a Styleforum Bay Area Meetup at their new San Francisco store. I'll get more information and pass it along. Suit Supply seems to be a brand that meets the needs of many Styleforum members.

Was wondering if and when that might come up. Would be fun.

I second the motion.

I just heard from Suit Supply about hosting a San Francisco Meetup. They will be setting up their all new Fall 2016 suits, jackets and accessories August 29th so we are looking at having a party in their Maiden Lane location on Sept 1st or 8th.

I'll post more details in a separate event/Meetup thread as soon as they are finalized.

OK, save the date, for Thursday September 1st for a Styleforum Meetup hosted by Suitsupply.

I will create a separate Meetup thread for this event when the time and other details are confirmed later this week or early next week. Hoping we can get something special for for Styleforum members and their guests as part of the event.

Any updates on the shopping experience here?

How are the fits, fabrics in general?

What is anyone intending to buy from them?

Thoughts? Discuss?

Am in the market for a bunch of slacks, jeans and pretty much over-haul my wardrobe. Was thinking of SuitSupply and looking for any experiences/feedback.

The store in SF is really large and has a really good assortment of fabrics and sizes for you to try on in the store. For the specifics, please hit up the main SS thread.

I must say, the suits and sport coats were really nice, but the rest of the items were a big old bucket of meh. The shoes, jeans, polos, casual shrits, etc felt pretty boring and uninspired.
