In the left corner, Church's Custom Grade; in the right corner, Allen Edmonds: They both close within an hour of 2007-12-16 17:00 PST. Does anyone care to make a wager on the spread?

Those AEs look like McCallisters. They arent going to move at all. Some SF n00b is gonna try to win those church's though.

I predict churchs 110, AEs 35.

spread is 75, over under 145

Sounds about right on the AEs. I don't think the church's will go for that much. I like the toe shape on those quite a bit though.

Well, we now know someones max bid on the Church's. $62.50 on the Church's. $38.50 on the AEs. $24.00 spread...over/under $101.00 and I'll take the under. I actually like the Church's quite a bit!

Can you recast the sizing to an 11.5? Something like: "These are marked 12B but may very well work for an 11.5D" I'm not sure if thats the case, but if its accurate, it might draw in some other bidders.

I actually have some AE in 12C which fit my 11 1/2 D foot quite nicely... not sure if this Church shoe in 12B would be too narrow, I'm done bidding... (4.25 tends toward the narrow - I prefer more in the 4.5 direction -- although you can never really tell until you try on the shoe!)

Haha that's hilarious. Of course my mistake is obvious, ending in mid-december, I should have reduced the line 5-8%. Every good bookie should know seasonality
