The danger of Google, Twitter, and Facebook - Page 2

Good thread...I have been thinking about this stuff lately too and think it all leads to artificial intelligence. Collecting search and browsing data is probably the most powerful, but add in other sources like Facebook and Twitter and you can probably get a pretty accurate blueprint of the human mind.

Google can only collect what sites you visit if the site has Google analytics or you go through a Google product. If you don't like them knowing that shit, don't use it. The real thing you should be worried about is when they are forced to turn that over to the state.

Curious how many of you guys use credit or debit cards for purchases? The banks have had deep profiles on customers for years. If you are really this paranoid I would consider buying your pr0n and militia supplies with cash.

Even Champion pistol, and rifle shooters don't get flagged for buying 1000's of rounds a week.

Someone's paying for it. You still see the stores around town and the internet is flooded with sites selling it. I'm sure someone around here could explain the inner workings of how the porn industry is remaining so profitable far better then I. wink.gif

Well they give you access to 1080p, and 4K quality, and terabytes of it for pretty cheap. Not saying torrents don't provide this too, but eventually torrents stop being seeded. Some of these sites have videos of Sunny Leone that you can't really find in torrents anymore. That's my guess. I think it's because of the vast library sites like bangbros have.

The real fools are the ones who think Google is the only one in the tracking game. lol

I don't think it's so much about tracking an individual, so there is little need to be paranoid unless you have something bad to hide or greatly value your privacy. The real power in collecting all this data is having the insight into human mind, what we think about, and how we think. All of this in time can be used to control our minds without us knowing.

Good point, but I wouldn't worry too much. Tin foil offers good protection from this.

If you don't have anything to hide then you have nothing to worry about. Well, I have plenty to fucking hide.
