Nice. I'm looking forward to my snozberry tencel. Haven't had one from him before.

Can someone take a shot of the big bubbas straight from the side?

Been wearing my shorts from last summer more what with the absurd heat as of late, and they're probably the best shorts I've owned or tried on (comparing to W+H, United Stock Dry Goods, RRL). I'd love to see them make a comeback next year. The button fly, darted legs, soft fabric, and welted coin pocket pretty much nail every detail I'm looking for in a pair of shorts. The only change I'd like to see is a deeper coin pocket, although god willing SEPTA will have finally rolled out smart cards by this time next year so I won't have to rely on tokens every time I want to get across town without driving.

I'd love to see the following colors:

- a darker khaki (British khaki? or maybe something taupe-ish?)
- charcoal
- rust

Still waiting with bated breath for the u-neck preorder (fingers crossed for bamboo-sorona).

Has WvG ever done thin wool merino (or similar) sweaters? Something like this:

I figure a bamboo/sorona long-sleeved crew can probably stand in well enough if not.

(FYI, that pic is of a Jil sweater that is extremely well-designed...as expected, it nails the minimalist vibe and the cut is flattering...but I found the quality disappointing even at 50% off MSRP.)

I agree 100%.  I love my Enzo shorts.

(not to derail but Gustin ran a shorts model a few months back that looked to be a direct copy of the Enzo shorts...i backed the khaki model but haven't received them yet)

He does do merino sweaters but nothing with the minimalist vibe you're after. The sweaters Mauro makes are usually whole garment and textured in some way, whether waffleknit or popcorn.

i bought the bubbas. shoe is very nice, not sure about the fit.

it's quite tight to slip my foot in given where the lacing is at. however, once the foot is in, the fit is a bit loose. i'm not sure if i'm between sizes, but wondering if sizing down would be better (even harder to get in, but better fit once in the shoe).

Thanks

Totally agree with the love for the enzo shorts. For me, they're perfect. At this point, the only shorts I wear outside of gym and loungewear are WvG and Outlier.

the enzo shorts are great but they're almost toooooo tapered when i sit down. almost.

Yeah, I love the Enzo shorts as well, but I'm not sure they needed the extra darting to taper the leg opening even further. The enzo cut is already pretty slim in the upper block.

The vibrant blue is wool/mohair, and the more muted navy is linen/viscose/elastane. I haven't inspected them very closely or worn them beyond just rolling the bottoms up and snapping pictures, but I'm quite happy with both. They're both very light, the vibrant blue color of the wool pair is really beautiful, and the linen pair feels fantastic - really nice and stretchy lengthwise, I'm sure they'll be a pleasure to wear. I also took them outside so you can get a sense of what they look like in the sunlight.

This is interesting. I pre-ordered the vibrant blue (and another pair) and was refunded, so I assumed they didn't get made. I got a shipping notification out of the blue for that order on July 27, but the tracking is showing as not found. Weird.

Glad to see that the pre-orders aren't going to be modifiable after entry if its actually a hang up.

Oh man I'm so screwed. There's always something basic I forget to mention in the comments box.

Maybe I'll make myself a copy/paste template

I'd also really like to see the comments box show up on the order confirmation. I MTO all my stuff for extra length and it's easy to forget what the details are in between orders. I also can't reference old shirts with varying adjustments.
