The ombré button downs are in typical Italy shirt sizing, yes?

Aka I have three or four Italy shirts just wasn't sure if these ended up true to size or not

Eh, I'd like an email coupled with the blog post, but most of the time I don't get Mauro's emails for whatever reason or they end up in a spam filter or deleted for room. I like having the blog to check every once and a while.

i dont disagree with the disdain for checking blog posts, but thats why mauro emails a handful of us to make sure the link gets posted here if anything new comes up

also keep in mind that the vast majority of his audience isnt actually on SF

I thought SF was where he got his start and is where his main customers are from.

I've always wondered about this. Where do they come from?

he always had a presence on SF but he started out with his own retail shops in the DMV area with Farinelli's and then started his own brand. im sure SF makes up a good portion of his base but to my knowledge its not the majority

the brand has evolved over the years but he also was carried in different retailers (some of whom are affiliates on SF) and gilt japan as well. but the majority of his customers are the rewards members that signed up with totes back in the day and have just followed along through newsletters

agree here. At least give us email updates. I know that he said he wouldn't spam us, but if it's stuff like product updates, I think it's important enough for me to read.

New post on wool blend fabrics: http://www.wolfvsgoat.com/blogs/blog/wool-wool-and-more-wool

IIRC, if you use Tapatalk and subscribe to the WvG blog it'll let you know when there's a new post.

Damn, I want all the fall knits.

I see WvG mentioned often enough on reddit, as well, and reddit is a bigger audience than SF.  However I think a lot of the people over there balk at the prices, which is a shame since I think Mauro's prices are pretty great for what you get.

Really? What subreddit? Because im on Reddit nonstop, malefashion, malefashionadvice and frugalmalefashion yet never see wvg. Only time I see it is when wvg has a big sale ither than that, nothing

Reddit can be rough. Seems most of them only want to wear CDBs or boat shoes, OCBDs or T-shirts, and chinos, and they only want to pay $15 for the full outfit. WvG gets pretty decent coverage during sales and the people in the know respect the quality, but its a little depressing.

Mauro has talked about his frustrations with reddit before in past threads. I get the sense that they're maddening to deal with because they expect the world at super-clearance prices, but they also drive a lot of traffic and are kind of a necessary evil (or were; maybe things are different, or at least easier for Mauro, with the shift to the pre-order system)

CDBs? As in chukkas? what's the appeal about those specifically?
