Uniqlo x Lemaire FW2015 thread - Page 17

Pleasantly surprised by the hooded coat. Like others have said, much better in person. The material is a sort of rubberized cotton somewhat akin to a mackintosh. Admittedly looks a bit dull in the stock photos. The fit is fine, maybe a bit boxy but hopefully the cotton will soften up a bit. Only drawback are the pockets, which are a bit finicky. Overall pretty pleased. What's the word on restocks? Slept on the wool cash coat.

Re-stock was reported to be finalised to retail for "holiday season".

No details as to whether it is a full re-stock or not tho.

Price drops on everything. Pants are still available in most sizes.

Currently standing in line returning everything.

Only the mock neck was worth keeping

HA! Agreed. I might even buy the other mock neck colors as basics. I did keep the wool-cash pleated pants as well since I had them hemmed, but if I held off longer I might have returned them too.

You got 30 things and are returning all of it? Whoa

This is why SW&D will never drive the forum.

I kept the knit blazer and a couple of shirts.

Also, despite not being great, the pleated pants and overcoat. Liked the cuts enough to live with the quality.

Everything else went back.

is the wool cashmere coat still in stick at the NY stores?

I really quite liked the shawl cardigan. It's warm and soft, am surprised to find people don't like it.

Should anyone still be interested in the stock available on uniqlo.eu I'd be happy to act as proxy. Just get in touch

I thought mine would go weak and floppy after the first couple of wears, but I've been wearing it consistently since it was released and still looks pretty good. I've worn it in NYC and London and its definitely rain resistant and quite warm with the line in.

Definitely one to watch for in the "re-release".

Word of caution: never wear around animals that shed. Something about the waterproofing on the cotton makes it an absolute bastard to brush the hair off, even with one of the sticky things.

Does anyone have a green shirt in size large from this colection the are looking to move? I'll take any of the convert, collarless or BD styles.

I would also be greatly appreciative if anyone is willing to proxy if their local has one in-stock.

the elasticized pants are very slim TTS. I will probably end up keeping the medium and returning the small. At TTS, they're like super slim wool sweatpants, which isn't the look I'm going for.
