Does anyone know what happened to SartodiNapoli? Seems he logged in for a while. I wanted to order from him but don't have an email address.

I've been looking at Spacca Neapolis for some time now. They ran a 50 % sale recently and I pulled the trigger on two ties. I'm positively surprised and at ~€50 per tie, they offer tremendous value for money https://www.spacca-neapolis.com/ I can highly recommend them. The ties are typical Italian: light, air-y and drape well. In addition, they tie a great knot.

I've also been looking at this maker Curciani & Bella. Does anyone have any experience with them? They have some great looking madder ties and they seem a pleasure to deal with judging by their CS. I've been emailing with them but haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet, but I might soon https://www.crucianiebella.com/

I have one tie from C&B which is very nicely constructed. The owner is also super nice.

I had a look at Cruciani & Bella: some very nice items, I'm particularly fond of grenadines.

My problem with the current ties is that they are too narrow for my taste. I prefer a width of 9,5/10 cm on the large blade, whereas current ties are 8/8,5 cm. Besides the fact that I like a wide tie on its own, it's also a matter of proportions: as I prefer pretty wide lapels, the width of the tie should be also adequate.

That's a good point. I wear anything between 8-9 cm so that is not an issue for me. They do however offer some ties that are 9-10 cm in the sale section.

I really love the subtlety of a woolen tie.

Here an example from MacAngus & Wainwright in a 150s wool cloth.

Viola Milano has several nice ties in the current sale section for those of you who's looking to add some nice ties to the collection.

Brunati Como is also running a sale with 30 % off with promo code WINTERSALE.

A Quaranta Locatelli has also a small selection that is currently discounted.

C&B doesn't have any real intrigue for me on the tie front, but they have some very cool suspenders.
