Sweet coat @nicelynice and it suits you and your style perfectly. Also your Rakuten skills are nextlevel... You should write [me] a guide.

For the experts, anyone know what the care instructions are for a screen-printed wool blend LUC knit? I was going to just dry clean it but then I remembered I don't really trust my dry cleaner so I wanted to double check. If cold wash with baby shampoo is okay I'd opt for that.

@nicelynice Great pick up, man! I don't like Harnden myself, but you do it justice. By any chance did you and @magicalporks try on the Taichi workers blazer (or whatever it's called)? I like the look of a lot of Taichi stuff, yet none of what I've tried has really struck as something I must have or the fit has been a bit wonky. This piece looks pretty sick though...

Been mild enough to break out my L0 from SS14.

God, I love how this thick calf feels.

I mean, it's a straw hat. And a crushed one at that.

Somebody stop me.

Edit: I guess there are some other iterations of it in rabbit fur that seem more worthy of the price tag.

I really like (some) Harnden but have always hated the hats. They never looked right on me (or most other people from the pictures I've seen) and think if you're into classic hats like that there are lots of similar options out there for much less money. I'm no expert as I've only got a couple of vintage Herbert Johnson ones but I'm sure the other side of the forum/manofkent would have some suggestions.

Man, that's nice! Perfect fit and that leather looks gorgeous. Any up-close pics?

If anyone is remotely curious about Paul Harnden sizing,

I'm a 46, and take:

For a relatively tight fit (41cm shoulders):
M in Blazers
S in long Blazers

For a coat fit (47cm shoulders)
S in macs (long and medium)
M in long coats

M in all shirts

This is for only recent seasons, older stuff fit pretty bizarre
I hear SS16 fits tight now though, so...

sizing various significantly by season/fabric, I don't think it's worth trying to make sense of. Just ignore sizing and try on or get measurements imo

Yeah what he said! Harnden just isn't consistent enough...I'm slightly smaller than you nicelynice and I range from an XS to a Medium in blazers and in some of the cuts I'd be an XXS. IT's super annoying. baldy[1].gif

Artisanship means never having to say you're sorrymake anything the same size twice.
