@eton97 The chamois is stunning. The others are nice but I think probably the kind of quality that can't be conveyed in a photo. I wonder if I will ever grow up enough to shift into a truly artisan wardrobe.

You definitely should. Just imagine yourself lurkin around in cropped pants with long socks and bow tie.

I was ok with everything up until the bow tie. Tied scarf maybe, but bow tie? No. I'm venturing into this already. The caterpillar slowly emerges from the RickOcocoon.

I stand by the scarf request. No one wears 3 meters of scarf like the Dr.

Has anyone handled the green stripe AND the herringbone? How did the two compare? I wish I woulda hopped on that stripe fabric, not that the blazer ever made it here. If anyone wants to sell...

The blazers are actually around $2100-2200 after conversion here.

Side note doesn't bergfabel make a pretty comparable blazer to PH?

Wife is Canadian haha

I actually prefer the cut of Berg to PH, but PH fabrics are on the whole much nicer and the construction feels a bit more solid. I also prefer the lining and pockets on PH, which is a big sell for me. I have two Berg blazers right now, gonna let one go and pick up a PH just for variety

Which is the herringbone? The current season fabric is the best and most interesting I've handled. Its like a fall weight wool, a lot of texture in the weave itself. Its quite colorful up close so that could be a turn off for some. I wasn't into the black with the green stripe, it was too stiff and shiny for me.

Unfortunately prices are approaching or over 4000aud (~$2800) for coats this season. Seems like they will be over 4000aud next season.. wtf

Back to scouring yjp I guess

The herringbone is AW15/16.

Here is the SS15 green stripe (Maxfield's had the classic and IF still has the long).

I recently went through receipts/tags and when I saw how much I paid for a pocket blazer 5-6 years ago it was a shock.I have huge issues paying retail for PH now, but I won't waffle on about it.
