also, these Inaisce are both avail aftermarket at the moment. I know they miss the mark for 1 sided strap config and you'd have to confirm with the sellers that they fit a laptop but the shapes are beautiful.

You might reach out to Noctex about customizing something like this too. She has done some custom womenswear for a friend of mine. http://www.shopnoctex.com/collections/accessories/products/lung-bag

Yeah I've seen the In Aisce, they're really beautiful but not exactly what I'm after. Noctex looks good, I'm basically after a larger version of that lung bag, how is her leather and build quality?

I have the first In Aisce backpack -- don't really recommend it. Maybe itll be better after the leather is broken in or something, mine was very stiff. The bottom backpack where the straps connect basically stabs into the small of your back. I ended up using it at burning man and haven't fucked with it since, but it's partly because its now covered in l-wire and dust.

Vaguely unrelated, recently got the devoa backpack from current season in both grey lamb and ballistic nylon.... vaguely single strap btw -- like it quite a bit, but even though its devoa (all ninja'd out) it feels like it could benefit from the experience/r&d/refinement an actual backpack company has undergone ;p Though I didn't expect otherwise, though there was some hope that I could comfortably parkour-yoga in it with a macbook pro 13" retina in it like a legit devoa fanboy.

I own the IS bag and use it pretty much daily, and as much as I love it, it's not a good laptop bag. It gives the bag odd pointy angles, and because of the sling style anything too heavy in it will flop around a ton while walking. It is great for carrying a light jacket, frisbee, sunglasses etc, but not a good work bag.

Echoing what everyone says - buy a bag from a bag company, not a fashion company. If you look a little less cool, ehh, deal with it

Thats exactly what i was saying based on the shape. I tried dozens of backpacks until i got a mission workshop, bags are just not for me, i don't find them comfortable.
