Artisanal Clothing and accessories discussion (MA+, CCP, Layer-0, Paul Harnden, Taichi Murakami, Boris Bidjan Saberi, etc...) - Page 114

Well, it's not my favorite piece on you. But you live in Japan, where I'm sure you must get mistaken for an action hero. So I'd keep it.

I feel like the layer-0 strictly dominates ma+ so I'll put a vote for return/sell. I think I'm in the minority tho

Return. If you have unzip the 2nd zip just so that you can wear it comfortably, I would say it is not worth keeping it. I don't believe it will loosen up that much either just by wearing it.

edit: Just saw you're looking for tight upper part - this is more of an overcoat, hmm. PH or Berg might be your only bet.

This is fantastic. Now I want it

Interest check on a Harnden Long blazer (same model as just posted by AlexanderTG) but grey Stripe fabric from AW14. Size Large, worn gently so no defects. There is some colour bleed on the white lining that is pretty much unavoidable with Paul jackets. Size Large, fits 48/50. Pm for more info, pics and/or send offers. 50/50 linen/wool, very warm, can be worn in the winter with sweater underneath. Bought from Harveys Berlin when it came out originally so only owner has been me. Still have the hang tags.

Thanks, everyone. I had forgotten about Bergfabel, but I wish it wasn't also so goddamn expensive. Ziggy - I think - scratches the itch, but I don't know where you guys are seeing all this stuff on sale. I don't know if I've ever spotted any. Suppose the best thing to do is keep an eye open?

Ha! I just found this photo from Monitaly's showroom last jan - maybe I should just get one of these?

I would keep looking. I am not convinced that is the most flattering look ^.

Ziggy on sale: hotoveli, atelier, PNP, svmoscow, daad-dantone, vertice, Lane Crawford, to name a few

I bought a pair of Ziggy linen trousers on sale this Summer at If Boutique. First experience with the label and I am very much pleased.

@Synthese, are you looking for something to wear in the colder or warmer months? People can keep an eye out for you smile.gif

fall/winter/spring! I'm not looking for a blanket coat, though. not so heavy it doens't move at all. Thanks!

also I'm in no rush since I'm broke and have too much clothing anyway. Seriously. I looked in my closet yesterday and had a serious WTF moment.

@Synthese, maybe not exactly what you're looking for . . . but maybe?

cheers, but neither long enough nor chimbley-sweep enough. I would like to look like an urchin wearing a well-cut burlap sack. Ideally a bel inconnu kind of situation, where I can roll up the sleeves and be a coal gremlin or wear a victorian high collar and hit people with a scrooge mcduck cane.

Speaking of, I am bringing the long coats thread back:  http://www.styleforum.net/t/439481/over-the-shoulders-under-the-knees-long-coats/100_100#post_8568379
