The rabbit hole goes much, much deeper than: If we only educate them and give them good jobs they'll be just like us: secular, amicable, pluralists.
There is a deeper reason why some parts of the world are the heart of darkness, discovering the reason most likely is as fruitless as educating them.

This is accurate. The conceit of the multi-culturalists and post-colonialists is that "brown people" are just like us. That US Weekly mentality is inherently racist.

Trump and Cruz are fighting for Western values. Democrats and their Greek Communist financiers are fighting for the fall of the West.

Have you joined Pio in promoting the Great Lie that Soros is Greek, or are we talking about other Communist financiers?*

Until whatever dialogue Pio and I were having caused me to look it up, I kind of thought he was Greek too for some reason.

My wife's parents are brown, first gen immigrants and they love Trump. They aren't Muslim, though. Because of their background they are skeptical of Muslim culture. I specifically heard my mother in law say "Trump tells it like it is."

We can't or shouldn't defeat them by: more aggressive bombing, blocking them from entry into the U.S., or using targeted surveillance. What options does that leave on the table? I suppose we ought to issue more calls for "unity and resolve."

We could just carpetbomb Dearborn.

Which "them" are you trying to defeat here? ISIS? Muslims? The fact that you didn't bother to distinguish kind of makes Obama's point.

Maybe we should carpet bomb those sick teenage fucks who shoot up their own high schools. Or do some of the limp-wristed folks around here favor coddling such mass murderers?

You sure have a knack for picking the wrong end of the stick.

This isn't about who is a shitty person, this is about who is actually a threat to us.

EU is not a melting pot so Brusseles and "Merkels" should stop stirring the pot. You want immigrants here's is Russia for you , you want cheap labor here's Eastern Europe for you. Not enough , here's India full of Indians. Why the fuck does EU needs ahlams? Is it becasue we keep envading and bombing them and then like retarded bully feel "Oh soo solly for zem?"...

ISIS, and more broadly, the radical element of Islam which extends far, far beyond the ~30K fighters ISIS has.

Mass School Shootings
  • completely unpredictable. No real connection between assailants that would allow for a generalized approach to be effective in combating the problem. We can't put surveillance on 'frustrated teenage boys.'
  • not part of a global ideology whose ultimate goal is to detonate a nuclear weapon in a western city and colonize western civilization through immigration.
  • not part of an ideology that's practiced on a daily basis which is responsible for genocide, honor killings, rape, torture and acts of terrorism

Islamic Terrorism
  • assailants share an ideology that's readily identifiable. A generalized approach, while "racist" would ensure that we drastically reduce the threat and in some cases prevent it completely. If we impose restrictions on immigration based on location/religion, some of the good ones don't get in, but we prevent attacks from future Muslim immigrants. Seems like a fantastic trade off unless you're on a suicide mission to prove how tolerant you are. We also stifle the influence that large scale Muslim immigration has on western culture, which by any measure seems to be overwhelmingly negative.
  • unlike mass school shootings, which occur on an infrequent, sporadic basis, radical Islam is responsible for crimes against humanity on a daily basis, on a global scale.

I don't see the comparison here.
