goat DR1 came in today. Feels much more substantial compared to lambskin jackets I've received. Really nice.

So, I wear horse and heavy steer.  I don't ride, but I've been known to jump the occasional barb wire fence, or lay it out.  I was even thrown over a razor wire fence once, (note to all - get help when you have to retrain a 300 lb man, and you are 170 lbs or so, lean weight - there are weight categories for a reason) and although the jacket got cut up pretty well, I just had minor lacerations.  If I'd been wearing something lighter, it would have been a not so great scene.  A big dog that clamps onto your forearm, which is unpleasant, to say the least, but it's a whole lot better than having it on your neck, will shake it and can cause damage, but at least you will not have your fleshed rendered before you've had time to get rid of the thing.

My life these days is pretty boring, thankfully.  I go to meetings and stay in decent hotels and mostly work in front of a computer. but I've never gotten over the feeling of protection of wearing a leather than does more than just look good on the street, though I also require that.

Comfort is much psychological as it is physical.

Any of you guys get this?

Does that mean it's in our local post office? I received no notice on door or anything.

Enter the EMS number into your local mail tracking system. If you are in the US it should give you more accurate tracking. I can't speak to other countries, though.

Thanks! That actually solved it-- didn't know you can check via USPS. Will be taking photos of a stock lamb MDR shortly.

Fit is great, the leather supple and soft, but it's mad veiny.

First photo from the back panel of the sleeves.

Veiny in the lapels.

Is this normal and to be expected?

I like the veinyness of the jacket as I think it adds life and character to the leather. But I know this is highly subjective.
