As I stated before, I limited the amount of leather vendors we work with to ensure quality control and consistency. Thickness, coloring process (dye vs paint), sheen (matte vs gloss), and overall draping and wearability are the basic standards when selecting our hides.

Hope this helps and clarifies our leather selection process.

Thanks for the assurance Dan on leather quality.

Are you able to provide any similar assurances on the cutting and tailoring of garment?

For example using the upcoming belted DR, variances between jackets are noticeable

1. epaulettes not sitting flush

2. top part of lapel cut inconsistently. 1st pic shows top lapels pointing downwards. 2nd pic (which i prefer) shows it lining up straight across.

3. Bottom section of lapel starting way to early, making it huge as shown in the 1st pic below. 2nd pic (which i prefer) shows lapel starting higher up and is more proportionate

Hi Charly, hope all is well. Is there any chance that you will be bringing back the baseball jacket?

This. There are always some inconsistencies and uncertainty insolved in mto/mtm.

Considering that those pictures are not really comparable (jacket worn vs. hanger, jacket wide open vs mostly closed) I don't think you can really glean that much from them.  The epaulets on that one jacket do kinda suck, though.

Most orders in production right now will be shipping at the end of this week or next week.

Also, wait list is pretty open for all jackets the moment.

So that means if you get on the wait list right now, I will most likely contact for payment at the end of this week and you will have a 3-4 week turn around for your jacket before the cold Autumn air blows through your city.

Another thing.. Daniel will be posting very shortly about some awesome calfskin colors he found, as well as calf suede and lamb suede.
