What's the color of the MA-1 wool that you wore hmtwrk?

Can I get some opinions on if front sleeve zips the way to go - if I want to have a jacket on at a desk without the zipper clanking against the desk all the time?

I prefer the aesthetic of rear zippers, however practically, I may be at work sometimes with it on - will rear zippers get annoying and noisy?

why not just take the jacket off when at your desk?

Can get cold where I work, plus not always inside.

It's a rather pricey item so I'd like to weigh up options. Hence asking for opinions as it's not something I can drop by a store to try out.

Perhaps it was a poor choice of wording which may have come across as a complaint.

No, its okay - wasn't directed at you as much as the 900 people who have tons of options with Falcon, but always want something else. Hey, can I get X, but with Y instead, and with Z color zipper, with the gusset from the 201X TOJ and two left arms? Thanks bro.

I don't see anyone asking most other stores for that stuff - I wouldn't walk into Nordstrom and ask  - hey, I like your jacket, but I'd really like it if you totally reworked it. Just for me.

(again, not directed at you)

Should note, this is exactly what people did at the height of TOJ's popularity, too.  I can see why it'd get old, fast, since it's basically an entitled attitude individuals have towards the designer.

A question for Charly and Company:  how does a Falcon stock size generally fit?  Slim, standard or generous?  If someone's generally a 42, would stock Falcon 42 be a slim fit or would it be more roomy?

I'd say somewhere between slim/standard.

for me, the sleeve zips on my old toj dr's did get annoying over time with them banging on tables. but it looks like charly/dan has moved them to the front or to the side on their jackets?

Yes, front zippers are much better if you want to do anything at a desk while wearing the jacket. I have another jacket with rear zippers and it's annoying to type or write anything with the jacket on.

just get the rear zippers

they're what you prefer and it's not supposed to be a practical jacket (you're buying it for it how it looks foremost, yeah?), so don't compromise on what you want

To be fair, Nordstrom doesn't make their own garments, but I get your point.

Looking at the MA-1. Was thinking either Dark Wine Lamb or the Maroon Nylon.

Anyone have any strong feelings either way?
