hey, so i picked my jacket up this morning from the post office

delivery was attempted yesterday, but nobody was home

from being placed on the order list on 2/22 to the delivery having been attempted on 3/9 (yesterday), total turnaround was 17 days

have work today, so i didn't have too much time, but i managed to take a few pictures:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

didn't see anybody mention it, so i'm guessing that just started doing it, but i was surprised to see that my jacket came in a tote:

the jacket itself:

and some bathroom selfies:

was worried about it being too short, and i'm sure most of you still think it is, but i think it turned out alright (maybe could've added a half inch at the most, but i really wanted a cropped jacket)

will do a more thorough write-up and see if i can get some better pics tonight or tomorrow or something

how's the fit look btw (like the shoulders and stuff)? really eager to place another order for an a-2 and want to make sure things look alright

Way too cropped.

After years of "trust Charly", you'd think they'd listen by now.

frankly, masshi, i almost like the way the jacket ended up too short because of how it integrates into your personal style. if the sleeves were longer, i'd say don't worry about the croppedness. but since everything's too short, yeah man, it's too short. try to flip it and reorder.

tote bag is dope. i have 12 falcon jackets in my apartment right now and i didn't even get a bag -- what's up with that @mrchariybrown?

i don't think the jacket itself looks bad, you just need to go all out with the styling to pull it off.

i actually didn't deviate from anything he suggested

though, had he suggested longer lengths, i probably would've asked for them to be changed

anyway, where do you guys think the front should've ended (with respect to the belt in the pictures; the jeans are petit standards, so they're low rise)?

the front and sleeves are at 18.5" and 23" respectively for reference

i have my front length end halfway where my belt sits. i'm 5'10" and my red dr3 has a front and sleeve length of 20" and 24".

probably more cropped than most people go for but idgaf.

bathroom selfies round two:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

was hoping my brother would be home so that i could get some full-body shots to see how the proportions work out, but he wasn't

anyway, the crop doesn't look as extreme if my arms aren't straight at my side, like in the latter three pics as opposed to in the first one

i think it looks alright, but do agree that it could be a bit longer

also, i was gonna save this for my "thorough write-up", but the leather is remarkably smooth and soft. i've always thought that saying that it's like "butter" was kind of douchey, but it really is like butter. while this would normally be a good thing, however, there is a problem in that i ordered a calf jacket.

when i first opened the package and held the jacket, i instantly noticed what i described above, but i chalked it up to falcon's use of a new calf leather, which is supposed to be softer (the thing has a decent weight to it, too, which also made me think that it was calf). but after coming back home and having a bit more time to try it on and check it out, i'm kinda convinced that i was accidentally sent a lamb jacket.

the jacket is really pliable and i can't discern any need to break it in at all. it's also not as "glossy" as i thought calf was supposed to be. im addition, veins along the back of the collar and inside/around the shoulder gusset area can be seen:
Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

is there any merit to my suspicions at all, or am i just crazy?

Yes it's more cropped than what most of us would go for, and that makes it look a tad feminine. But look for example at Acne jackets, they're very cropped.

BTW that does look like lamb, not calf. I don't think anyone has ever found "veins" in their calf jackets.

What are your favourite models?

hi everyone

as posted above, our tote bags have recently been finished :)
we started sending them out for full leather/suede jackets only (sorry varsity jacket customers!) last week, and will continue to do so in all future runs.

hope you all enjoy them as much as i do!
