I dont even know what to say.

hate how this cookie thing is the only thing i'm known for (and i'm 25, dude; you best be in your late 40s or something to be calling others "kid" on this site)

regardless, i basically just cheap out on food (specifically mentioned the cookies safeway bakes themselves in the other thread; at $5 for 50 of them, they're a steal!) so that i have more spending money for fashunz or other dumb things that i wanna buy

is it healthy? no

is it stupid? probably

do i care, though? naaah, not at this point in my life

i actually don't even eat breakfast anymore (i only eat dinner nowadays; sometimes a snack a few hours before dinner too)

the only ill effect that has come from this is that i am now really susceptible to food comas

as i mentioned, i've always been around this weight in my life (even when i was the type to eat regularly throughout the day; have a fast metabolism), so it really hasn't made that much of an impact on my life

and i know that this might sound crazy, but i don't actually enjoy eating (usually)

if anything, the feeling of an empty stomach makes me feel nimble (i enjoy walking a lot) and your breath stays fresher the longer you don't eat (i'm particular about my dental hygiene)

eating three or more times a day is a cultural thing, anyway, and i know i'm not the only person like myself who does this type of thing

now i'd ask you guys to get off my dick about the thing since it even follows me outside of the falcon and toj threads, but i know that a lot of forum goers/internet people are really into meme-y, trite humor, so i know it wouldn't do anything

just wanted to clarify for those who didn't know what they were talking about

but anyway, if i could just get a few more comments on where the measuring point on my shoulder is supposed to be, that'd be greeeeeat

really, really appreciate the two dudes who commented already (just want more to weigh in for confidence's sake is all)

Don't worry about the safeway cookies.  Everyones guilty of doing stupid shit at some point in their lives.  We're just teasing.  That's what friend do.

Anyways, middle of purple and blue is where I'd size.  Where in the middle depends on what style you want.  I personally think DR's look better on the slimmer side while bombers look better on the wider side.  It would be easiest to just find a shirt that fits your shoulders the best and just measure the width to get an idea.

Can anyone provide input on how a properly fitting varsity should "feel"? If the elbows and shoulders get snug when raising or bending your arms, does that means it's too small, or is that to be expected of a slimmer fitting jacket like this? Or will it break in over time?

Ive seen several people in this thread say the same thing. Narrow sleeves. Its nice to have slim sleeves, but too small would not be what Id be looking for.

No he doesnt. At 5'8 125 he is fine. Americans are just so used to seeing fat pieces of shit around them (themselves, their family, friends) they think that is the way everyone should be and actually strive for it. Stockholm syndrome and obesity is your captor.

Person A: Sacrifices on optimal food choices for something that makes him happy (new leather jacket).

Reaction: You're living your life wrong!

Person B: Sacrifices on optimal food choices (cripply student loans) to get a piece of paper (degree) to get a job pushing papers (idk, corporate law, accounting etc?)

Reaction: OMG what a young smart hardworking individual, good for you!

Haha. Funny what people like to harp on.

Please shut the fuck up about the cookies stuff. When you make judgements like that 11 times out of 10 you look like a retarded asshole. You dont know any better.

Apparently, cookies are not the only way to go.

(Baked beans works too)

hey, so i got my measurements and was wondering whether they seem "right" for a person of my stature. if you're willing to comment (really appreciate if you do!), please let me know if anything seems off or wonky (for reference, i'm going for more of a "cropped" look, hence the shorter front length):

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

1. height – 5’8"

2. weight – 125 lbs.

3. shoulders – 16.25”

4. chest – 33.5”

5. midsection – 28” @ belly button, 26.75” @ slimmest part of torso (my belly button is 3 inches below the slimmest part of my torso - is that normal?)

6. waist/hips – 30”

7. front length – 18.5” (this ends at just a touch over the top of my belt, halfway between the top of it and the center of the belt holes; i was wearing apc ps for reference)

8. sleeve length – 23”

9. bicep – 9.5”
