guidelines on creases (pants)

I didn't see any open threads on this, so if there are, feel free to direct me. But I'm curious about creases. All pants? Only with suit pants? How about flat front pants..or khakis? Thanks for any feedback.

Unless you are trying to buy or sell pants, creases or creased pants, this is posted in the wrong forum.

I generally like creases in wool, not in cotton (with exceptions to both - a cotton suit might look better w/ creased pants, and really casual wool flannel pants might look better without). In other words, the dressier the look, the more I'd like to have a crease.
