I assumed whatever they were doing did appear suspicious (I mean, it turned out to be an IED 'factory') but you had to see it in person to understand why.

also more strict gun regulation would be good, not to ban all guns but it would be a good start maybe it would help in a decade or two

if more guns would mean you more safety USA would be by far safest western country already, it is actually the opposite.

Actually, OECD data indicates the average citizen is far safer from crime against the person in the US than people suspect. Couple that with the fact these crimes tend to concentrate in definable places in the US and the average citizen in the US is far safer than people want you to believe.

Ok gun guys honest curiosity here . I have only handled two automatic shoulder weapons in my life the M14 and the Matty Mattel machine gun . I sure you know that by removing certain

parts the auto fire mode can be disabled . Now these were military versions. Of the legal civilian high capacity clip fed semi auto rifles on the market today, can any of them of be converted to full auto as easily or relatively as easily ?

I completely agree with this . Caution is one thing but people behave in irrational ways ,based on unreasonable fears and it often seems those in the least danger are the most fearful

For most models if you have basic proficiency with hand tools and some metal parts lying around you can do it in less than a half hour following instructions on the internet. But it's a risk with just about any firearm, not just the scary looking "assault weapons".

I see so any gas operated simiauto has the inmate ability to converted.

There's also those bump fire stock things that use the recoil of the rifle to bounce the thing around effectively making it automatic.

Don't try that one at home.

Not sure if your spelling of innate was intentional or not, but it's kind of appropriate because if you get caught converting a semi-auto to full auto, you will likely become an inmate.

Imagine if this guy were able to go to Walmart and buy an AR15 instead.

I really need to get off my ass and get a good AR 15.

You are better off with an AK. Well depending on your state.

Panteao Productions made a great video with Master Gunsmith Jim Fuller concerning AK's.
