Was the original accusation lobbying or not? Maybe I'm fucked in the head from the 6 martinis I've had since this started so if I am then I apologize.

EDIT -

Maybe I wasn't completely drunk.

Here's a comparison between the gun rights and gun control lobbies in spending during 2014: http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/article/how-loaded-is-the-gun-lobby/

The NRA and other gun rights organizations spend quite a bit more.

I guess that's slightly less stupid than prohibition won't work for guns but will with drugs.

You wouldn't be able to build all the components at once, but yes.

I'm all for it.

NRA is a lobbying arm for gun manufacturers not grassroots. There are far better and more effective grassroots organizations representing gun owners.

Yes, but why not do it from the comfort of your desk? A few thousand dollar 3d printer, and you can start making them in a matter of hours.

You'd be better off arming the chickens instead.

I used imprecise language. I meant spending by either side in general, not just on lobbying efforts.

"Authorities said they are still trying to determine why Farook and his wife attacked the Inland Regional Center.

"We do not know the motive. ... It would be irresponsible of me and be way too early to speculate on motive," said David Bowdich, assistant director in charge of the FBI in Los Angeles."

It sounds like the alledged shooters may have been triggered by micro-aggressions by insensitive colleagues at the party.
