No references to Christmas allowed in the People's Republic of Kalifornia.

MSNBC had a gun control "expert" providing commentary before they knew the identity of the terrorists.

I'm waiting to see how they tie the killings to Planned Parenthood "heated rhetoric."

TS, I was thinking more along the lines this was an organized crime/gang hit with the target at the party. Obviously I was wrong and I think FLMM might be on to something.

4) Syed Farook and co. were agents sent by this 2000-strong sleeper cell on the day the demands were made for more funding

Well, they do overlap somewhat you know. Hard to shoot up a place with no guns.

Don't you NRAtards realize that to carry out attacks in the US it is stupid easy to get the arms to do so? The Paris attack required complex smuggling and planning. Here you just need to go to a Walmart in the right state.

Our company is having a "Ugly Holiday Sweater Party." I hope someone shows up with a gaudy Presidents Day themed sweater just to highlight the absurdity.

the conclusion from this post is that even if gun restriction/prohibition is in effect, as it was in Paris, nutjobs will find ways to commit horrible atrocities

Everyone believes that a massive deportation initiative would inevitably result in some kind of resistance from people who wouldn't want to leave the country. That analysis is probably correct. With 300+ million guns in the country, a confiscation of all privately owned firearms would be needed in order to make an impact on the number of guns in circulation. If the left thinks we would see resistance and bloodshed over deportation, they have no idea what a confiscation program would lead to. It wouldn't be pretty, and if they were stupid enough to try it I suspect the small percentage of LE they convinced to be involved would have second thoughts very quickly (so would the politicians). And as you rightly pointed out, tongue in cheek or not, Paris is a perfect example of gun control failing to prevent terrorist attacks. This doesn't even begin to consider that several attacks used explosive devices, not guns.

It's really hard to draw a meaningful conclusion from this post. Maybe we need to examine the role of black SUVs?

It's not that I'm against rational gun control but you've really undermined the impetus here by tossing in the Paris tragedy.

My FB friends are in ethan's camp.  This is still a gun control issue in their mind.

Edit: They have dropped the "when will we start talking about crazy right-wing nutjob white guy terrorism?" line.

seems more likely that that was the target all along, and the guy picked a fight himself to get his blood going so he could go through with the thing. the gopro footage may clarify that

btw, how crappy is that ad space? i feel like media go out of their way to brand these events, they never say "personal video device" or anything like that, it's always "brought to you by gopro"

clearly an A-team inspired act of violence, black SUV, assault rifles - coincidence? I don't think so.
