No, there is no law prohibiting people on the watch list from buying firearms.

I'm not an expert on the watch list. Is a court involved in putting you on it? Or does the executive branch do that without oversight? I think this is relevant because I think people on the watch list still retain their constitutional protections. I believe the government still needs a warrent to search them.

i'm pretty sure i'm on some watch list given my travels, not sure if any court was involved in placing me on there either.
