Other prominent paranoid right wing nutball camp members include Montesquieu, Jefferson, Madison, and Locke.

Enough armed people can cause a lot of problems for LE. Not too worried about the Marines, and Army. I think they would stand down if an uprising was legitimately justified. I do think some Air Force geeks controlling the drones would give people major problems though. Eventually all these armed uprisers would turn on each other for resources, and the uprising would die down. Too many people need the current system, and don't know how to live without it. I mean how many us of can even fish? Or make a fire without firesteel? Properly sanitize water? Most of us would be totally fucked.

99% of us would be fucked but I'm sure Ethan would thrive.

Once upon a time people were organized on a local level well enough that they could get together and actually fight the government in pitched battles -- or whatever -- but they almost never did even in the founders' day. The real point of an armed citizenry is that the government has to kill you to make you do something you really don't want to do. A few people resisting would be dismissed as nuts, but could the army or the police go around killing hundreds or thousands of people? Unlikely.

I think Gandhi proved one does not need to be armed to not acquiesce to the will of a government.

Better be nice to those of us who were raised in cultures who lived off the land and spent most of their lives in a world before there was an internet:D

Seriously if people don't like the government they have just throw the bums out and elect the one you want. As long as we can't agree on that how the fuck is any sort of armed insurrection going to accomplish anything. We Won't Be Fooled Again was written quite a few years ago

And Ghandi managed to get his message out without having freedom of speech, so I guess we don't need the first amendment either.

I went full auto with a 30rd clip start to finish at the range once with my C7 (better M16). Unless youre in a totally packed subway car youre probably taking out a lot of sky. Plus a 747 can carry, what, 300+ people?

Hundo. Super dumb.

Freedom means not having to explain to what "purpose" you own shit other people find needless and offensive. Like JapanAlex and his hamster or Fanger and his blowup doll hamster.
