How does these frames work with my face? - Page 2

I think you'd look better with thinner frames but that's just me. Like your hat!

I think they look OK, albeit a tad too wide. I have the same problem, where my face is pretty narrow and lots of glasses seem to extend too far, horizontally, past my temples. Do you have any other options? Post more pics and see what people think.

+1. Frames look too wide. I just got new glasses at Sol Moscot's here in NYC, and the first thing the guy pointed out was that I needed a frame that fit the width of my face.

Additionally, your eyes aren't completely centered within each lens, especially top-to-bottom. Poorly centered frames represent the quickest way to tell when someone's been convinced by a bad optometrist--the better ones will point this out to you immediately, even if you're wall-eyed.

As an aside, I just bought some rimless glasses, and while I don't think they make the greatest statement, I have to say, the fact they weigh barely more than a feather makes them a dream. They also stay on my nose better.

I actually think SuperB has the perfect face for some really low profile glasses. People would probably come up and ask him to do their heart surgeries or to explain in detail how NASA repaired the mirrors in the Hubble.

But I think he said he wasn't interested in those kinds of frames.

The other problem with them is you have to have a low enough prescription. Even when I got mine, the optician first advised against saying they could be too thick for aesthetics, but he said my prescription was just close enough where it would probably be okay. He was right.

Your face is perfect for bold plastic frames (which would look stupid if you had chubby cheeks). My only concern is that the temples (sides) are too wide and they could interfere with your peripheral vision -- dangerous if you're driving or crossing a busy street.

Great frames, Superbobo. I dig the look a lot. I think they'd be even better if this model was just one size smaller, but still had the bold silhouette. Other than that, looks really cool.

Please don't doubt yourself I think your face works for those frames; it might just be that sparkle in your eyes but I cannot see what glasses your would not charm.

I like them on you. I love strong frames. I used to wear thin, wireframe glasses but now I'm like, what was I thinking?! I see some people wearing stuff that looks like sleek shop goggles these days and they look awful. I don't like the wayfarers as spectacles, I like them as sunglasses.

Tehs are nice but a bit big IMO
