For Sale:
Epaulet X Vanson Trident Leather Jacket medium

Will Ship To: CONUS

$400 BNWT, size Medium, tried on once - looking to get back what I paid (~$380) and cover shipping to it's new owner.

This jacket kicks so much ass and it's really tough to let go...unfortunately I don't think I can pull it off.  Fit & quality are superb and the leather smells absolutely wonderful.  Whoever gets this piece is going to be thrilled.

Local Pickup in NYC available (in which case I will reduce the price to $380).

Epaulet's description of the piece:

This jacket is an exclusive collaborative piece between Epaulet New York and Vanson leathers. Meticulously crafted in the USA, it combines Epaulet's signature athletic slim fit and understated style with Vanson's incredible craftsmanship. Our goal was to create a true motorcycle jacket which is equally stylish, versatile, and practical whether worn on a bike or on the street.

The Trident is a minimal cafe racer shape. It's cut in Vanson's mid-weight competition-glazed cowhide. It has a gorgeous sheen and an extremely sturdy hand. It's stiff when new, but will quickly mold to your shape as you wear it. The leather is tanned to Vanson's proprietary specs, and it offers ample resistance against weather and abrasion. It will age beautifully as you wear it.

The Trident's details include: snap tab collar with a cotton twill liner, two zippered chest pockets, two zippered hand pockets, "bi-swing" action back, seamless center back panel, gusseted zippered cuffs, waist adjustment buckles, and a quilted red liner with light insulation. The zipper hardware is all black and matches nicely to the jet black leather. Between the sturdy weight of the hide and the insulated liner, this is a great leather jacket for cooler days. It carries a lifetime warranty against any defects or failures.

Your investment in a genuine Vanson will make even more sense in 10 years: you'll still be wearing it! That is the heart and soul of Vanson."

Pics are of the exact same product (they are from Epaulet's website) although not necessarily the particular one that I purchased.

Can you comment on how warm this thing is? Is the lining pretty thick? Aka, what temp range would you imagine wearing this? Obviously it would depend on how many layers you have underneath... lets say just with a t shirt or long sleeve button-down?

The lining isn't very thick but I can see it adding a fair amount of warmth - it is somewhat airy like a down jacket and air is a wonderful insulator.  The Leather is also very substantial.

Everyone has different tolerances when it comes to cold and the jacket is brand new so I don't have any practical experience actually wearing it. That said, I could see wearing it down into the 40s with a single thin layer underneath.

Just put this up on Ebay.  I'll consider pulling it for a good offer here.
